The lab tested my immune system function and for current active infections.
CD 57 (Immune system marker):
Reference range: 100-360.
My result: 19
*The result of the CD57-cell count indicates chronic immune-suppression, which can be caused by Borrelia burgdorferi or other bacteria like Chlamydia pneumoniae.
My immune system is almost non-existent with a result as low as 19 which leaves me with little defence against bacteria, viruses, parasites, and recovering from chronic Lyme disease.
Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme bacteria):
Positive for current active infection.
Chlamydia pneumoniae:
positive for current active infection.
*Chlamydia pneumoniae is an airborne bacterium that initially infects the respiratory tract. It is NOT the std bacterium. It's extremely easy to catch and most people have been exposed to it by the time they reach adulthood. The problem is that in immunosuppressed patients it is likely to become another chronic infection and is medically treated as a chronic co-infection.
Epstein Barr Virus lytic: (EBV, or more commonly known as Mono):
Positive for current active infection.
Epstein Barr Virus latent: (EBV, or more commonly known as Mono):
Positive.
We do not have a treatment plan going forward yet, I am still on a break from all treatments. We are just sharing the test results as there are many who are interested and asked us to keep them posted.
